Lyons ends OPRF girls water polo winning streak

Lyons handed the Oak Park-River Forest girls water polo team its first loss of the season, 11-6, on Tuesday.
Leading the way for the Huskies (6-1) was junior Katie Appell, with four goals, two steals and two kickouts drawn. Senior Samantha Robbins and junior Maura Dahl each scored once for OPRF. Sophomore Jordin Hale and senior Zoe Erickson combined for 17 saves.
