Notes: Evanston won the 4x800-meter relay, the freshman/sophomore 4x200 relay, the varsity 4x200 relay, the sprint medley relay and the 4x400 relay. It was the first time in the history of the Dan Phillips Relays that a team has won all five relays, according to Evanston coach Don Michelin. Wildkits sophomore Reggie Murphy won the 55-meter dash in “an excellent time of” 6.48 seconds, Michelin said in an email. Evanston’s next meet is the CSL Invitational at 5 p.m. Friday.
GIRLS WATER POLO
Oak Park-River Forest 12, York 10
Notes: OPRF junior Katie Appell tallied seven goals, two assists, two steals and three kickouts as her team improved to 6-0. Senior teammate Samantha Robbins registered two goals, five assists and four steals. Junior Anna Vogel, junior Maura Dahl and senior Hannah Legatzke added a goal apiece for the winning side. OPRF sophomore Jordin Hale finished with nine saves and four steals while teammate Zoe Erickson, a senior, contributed four blocks and two steals.
