Letter: Thanks to township clerk

Just want to say how much I appreciate Greg White, township clerk, for all he has done to ensure that referenda regarding fracking and move to amend, are handled properly and fairly in getting on the Nov. 6 ballot.
Folks from my party, the Green Party, have experienced horror stories in places like Berwyn and Proviso townships, that have engaged in meeting packing and denial that this process could be done. There is even a lawsuit in DuPage County regarding access to getting referenda on the ballot.
We, in Oak Park, are truly blessed with a cooperative and proactive township office.
