District 97

BASE Camp’s
‘Game Day’ March 4

The Oak Park Education Foundation’s BASE Camp will offer “Game Day,” a one-day camp for third- through eighth-graders in Oak Park District 97. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on no-school Monday, March 4, at Percy Julian Middle School, Ridgeland Avenue and Washington Boulevard, Oak Park. Cost is $60 per child.

On this day off from school, kids will create and play games of LEGOs, mini-golf and crazy improv, play active games in the gym and design a board game to take home. Also, all kids will play the cardboard arcade designed and constructed that day by the older kids in sixth through eighth grades.

Advance registration is required and space is limited. For more information and to register online, go to opef.org/basecamp.~.
