Annual Library
Book Sale

Exhibition

From Nov. 28-Dec. 12 in Triton College Art Gallery in the Fine Arts Building (J-Building). See the artwork of Triton College’s students in its drawing, painting, ceramics, design, photography and graphic design classes. Some of the artwork will be available for purchase. HIA Annual
Holiday Celebration

From 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 4 and 5:30-7 p.m. Dec. 5, in Café 64, on the second floor of the B-Building. Students and faculty of hospitality program will serve a holiday-inspired menu in the newly remodeled Café 64. Menu items are no more than $10. Call (708) 456-0300, Ext. 3387 to make a reservation.

Cernan Earth
and Space Center

Public shows at Triton College, 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove. Through Nov. 25 an array of shows to inform and entertain families on astronomy at the planetarium. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sundays. Show admission ranges from $8 to $10 for adults and $4 to $5 for children and senior citizens 55+. Monthly
Skywatch

At 7:30 p.m. Dec. 22. Tour the night time sky. Presentation on the latest news from NASA in the space center’s dome theater and outdoor skygazing with telescopes focused on the waxing crescent moon. Admission: $8 adults; $4 children ages 2-12 and senior citizens ages 55+. Outdoor telescope session free.

Student Creations
Exhibition & Sale

From 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 15 at 1708 Main St., Melrose Park. Floral arranging and cake decorating classes will showcase their creations and offer them for sale just in time for the holidays.
