River Forest detectives, who were aware of similar robbery incidents in nearby jurisdictions, monitored the Oak Park pursuit.

When Treadwell and Owens were in custody, River Forest police held a line-up, and both men were identified in the River Forest incident.

Oak Park Detective Cmdr.
