Harmon unopposed for state senate seat

State Sen. Don Harmon, a Democrat from Oak Park who represents the 39th District, will be unopposed in the 2012 election.
He has served in the position since 2003.
The 39th Legislative District includes Oak Park north of Washington Boulevard, River Forest north of Iowa Street, much of the Austin and Galewood neighborhoods in the City of Chicago (including parts of the 28th, 29th, 36th, and 37th Wards), most of Melrose Park, Stone Park, and part of Berkeley in Proviso Township, Elmwood Park, River Grove, Franklin Park, Schiller Park, Northlake, and most of Rosemont in Leyden Township, part of Bensenville in DuPage County, and a portion Chicago’s 41st Ward which contains O’Hare International Airport.
