Missing Galewood teen girl found safe

A teenage girl who went missing Thursday from Chicago’s Galewood community was found safe and returned to her Northwest Side home.
Jazmine Rivera, 15, went missing after getting ready for school Thursday at her home in the 2000 block of North Newland Avenue, according to a community alert from Chicago Area North detectives. Police said the girl never returned home.
On Friday evening, police said the girl was located safely and was back at home.
