Oak Park police blotter for Oct. 22

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Oak Park Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
BATTERY
An Oak Park juvenile was arrested at 9:40 a.m. Oct. 18 on the 100 block of Madison Street and charged with battery following a reported Oct. 11 incident on the 700 block of Lake Street.
An Oak Park juvenile was arrested at 4:21 p.m. Oct. 17 on the 1200 block of North Austin Boulevard and charged with aggravated battery to a police officer.
THEFT
Andre D. Warren, 50, of Chicago was arrested at 2:25 p.m. Oct. 19 at Deals on the 6400 block of North Avenue and charged with retail theft. An active warrant for parole violation was also discovered. He was held for bond hearings.
Wilbert Morris Jr., 49, of the 4300 block of West Washington in Chicago was arrested at 1:50 p.m. Oct. 17 at Dominick’s on the 200 block of Lake Street and charged with retail theft. He was held for bond hearings.
A Chicago juvenile was arrested at 6:58 p.m. Oct. 15 at Dominick’s on the 200 block of Lake and charged with retail theft. He was processed and released to an adult.
ALCOHOL
Somer L. Heaps, 30, was arrested at 3:54 a.m. on the 600 block of South Austin Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Delacernia Bailey, 26, of the 1500 block of Dorchester in Dolton was arrested at 7:59 p.m. Oct. 21 on the 1100 block of Wesley and charged with disorderly conduct.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Kalan S. Mabins, 21, of the 6800 block of South Harper in Chicago was arrested at 1:08 p.m. Oct. 19 on the 1000 block of North Austin Boulevard and charged with criminal damage to property.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
Michal Wrzaszcak, 26, of the 8300 block of Laramie in Burbank was arrested at 9:12 a.m. Oct. 17 on the 2100 block of South Harlem in Berwyn and charged with criminal trespass to property. He was issued a Dec. 24 court date.
Bettina E. Brown, 28, of the 800 block of North Springfield in Chicago was arrested at 11:26 a.m. Oct. 20 on the 700 block of North Austin Boulevard and charged with criminal trespass to property.
OBSTRUCTION
Javonnie M. Davis, 18, of the 2000 block of Washington in Maywood was arrested at 12:25 a.m. Oct. 16 at Erie and Austin in Chicago and charged with obstructing identification. Further investigation revealed an active Bellwood warrant for retail theft and an active Cook County Sheriff’s Police warrant for robbery. He was held for bond hearings.~.
