Oak Park police blotter for Oct. 1

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Oak Park Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
ROBBERY
A Chicago juvenile was arrested at 10:03 p.m. Sept. 21 on the 5700 block of West Ohio Street and charged with robbery in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred on the 300 block of South Lombard Avenue.
BATTERY
Jeanette Ivy, 52, of the 1100 block of South Lombard Avenue was arrested at 8:25 p.m. Sept. 22 on the 400 block of South Humphrey Avenue and charged with aggravated battery and on an active Cicero warrant. She was held for bond hearings.
BURGLARY
A stationary set, three watches, wallet and pocketknife were removed from a residence between 7 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. Sept. 25 on the 700 block of Thomas Street. Estimated loss, $1,050.
Four iPods and a gold Techno Swiss watch were removed between 6 p.m. Sept. 20 and 6:14 a.m. Sept. 21 from Hollywood Pawners on the 6100 block of North Avenue. Someone entered by cutting a hole in the ceiling and jumping into the store. Estimated loss, $1,650.
THEFT
Jaime Chandler, 18, of the 1400 block of North Menard Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 11:08 a.m. Sept. 25 on the 5700 block of West North Avenue and charged with theft. He allegedly took an Oak Park resident’s bicycle. An Oct. 15 court date was set.
A 1998 Dodge Caravan was removed from the first block of South Boulevard between 5 p.m. Sept. 24 and 7:12 a.m. Sept. 25. Estimated loss, $2,000.
Holly Esterland, 31, of the 1300 block of Surrey Road in Batavia, was arrested at 5 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Dominick’s on the 200 block of Lake Street and charged with felony retail theft. She allegedly took liquor and store items without paying. She was held for bond hearings.
Sandra Decosola, 39, of the 1200 block of South Harlem Avenue in Berwyn, was arrested at 7:29 p.m. Sept. 19 on the 800 block of North Lombard Avenue and charged with two counts of aggravated identity theft. She was held for bond hearings.
ORDER VIOLATION
David Bahena, 38, of 3030 S. East Ave. in Berwyn, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Sept. 24 on the 1500 block of Maybrook Drive in Maywood and charged with violation of an order of protection. A Sept. 27 court date was set.
Jerry L. Lewis, 51, of the 1000 block of South Austin Boulevard in Chicago, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. Sept. 25 on the 1100 block of South Austin and charged with violation of an order of protection. He was held for bond hearings.
FLEEING
Dewayne Carr, 40, of the 6600 block of South Wolcott Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 9:03 a.m. Sept. 20 on the 800 block of Randolph Street and charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding, a cigarette tax act violation and unlawful use of an identification card. He was held for bond hearings.
HARASSMENT
Shenita D. Hardin, 27, of the 600 block of 10th Street in Chicago, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 21 on the 200 block of South Austin Boulevard and charged with harassment by telephone.
