Oak Park police blotter for Sept. 24

The following incidents were listed in the reports of the Oak Park Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
ROBBERY
An Oak Park juvenile was arrested at 12:12 p.m. Sept. 17 on the 200 block of North Scoville Avenue and charged with robbery.
BURGLARY
Marquell M. Boyd, 23, of the 1400 block of North Austin Boulevard in Chicago was arrested at 4 p.m. Sept. 18 on the 1600 block of North Moody Avenue in Chicago and charged with residential burglary in relation to a reported incident on the 1100 block of North Austin Boulevard. A Sept. 21 court date was set.
A 52-inch flat screen television and a laptop were removed from a residence on the 900 block of South Taylor Avenue between 6:45 and 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19. Estimated loss, $1,900.
BATTERY
Lavell C. Robinson, 19, of the 200 block of Flournoy Street in Oak Park and Christian L. James, 18, of the 100 block of North Humphrey Avenue in Oak Park were arrested at 4:05 p.m. Sept. 18 on the 400 block of South Euclid Avenue and charged with battery. They were issued an Oct. 15 court date.
A Forest Park girl was injured by a BB gun at 3:47 p.m. Sept. 19 on the 7000 block of Roosevelt Road.
THEFT
A black Ford F150 truck was removed from the 1000 block of North Elmwood Avenue between 6:30 and 6:55 p.m. Sept. 20. The vehicle was unattended and unlocked, with the keys in the ignition. Estimated loss, $6,000.
An Oak Park juvenile was arrested at 7:33 p.m. Sept. 18 on the 200 block of South Grove Avenue and charged with theft. He was processed and released.
Dwan E. Common, 50, of the 1200 block of North Mason Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 1:28 p.m. Sept. 17 on the 6400 block of North Avenue and charged with retail theft. He has an Oct. 15 court date.
Cleveland Evans, 48, of the 5400 block of West Quincy Street in Chicago, was arrested at 3:06 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Walgreens on the 6400 block of Roosevelt Road and charged with retail theft. Evans also had a warrant for retail theft. He has an Oct. 29 court date.
Crystal L. Stephens, 25, of the 1500 block of North Kolin Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 7:31 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Dominick’s on the 200 block of Lake Street and charged with retail theft. Stephens was held in lieu of bond.
FORGERY
Melvin Jones Jr., 40, of the 7300 block of South Stewart Avenue in Chicago, was arrested at 12:06 p.m. Sept. 18 on the 4200 block of West Monroe Street and charged with forgery. Jones was issued a Sept. 21 court date.
TRESPASS
Anthony M. Dukes, 25, of the 100 block of Saint Armand Lane in Wheeling, was arrested at 2:03 p.m. Sept. 19 on the 1200 block of North Austin Boulevard and charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle. A Nov. 5 court date was issued.
Terry J. Redwood, 49, of the 400 block of South Boulevard in Oak Park, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at the CTA station on the first block of South Ridgeland Avenue and charged with criminal trespass to state supported land. An Oct. 22 court date was issued.
