Oak Park police blotter for Sept. 17

The following incidents were listed in the reports of the Oak Park Police Department. Readers are reminded that individuals who are charged are innocent until proven guilty. Court appearances are in Maybrook Court in Maywood unless otherwise noted.
ROBBERY
A 12-year-old Oak Park girl was approached by a person who placed a handgun to her neck and demanded her laptop at 7:37 p.m. Sept. 13 on the 100 block of South Humphrey Road. Estimated loss, $1,620.
BATTERY
Kimberly Thompson-Mayo, 44, of the 1100 block of South Cuyler Avenue in Oak Park was arrested at 5:11 p.m. Sept. 12 and charged with domestic battery. She has a Sept. 20 court date.
Joshua Rodriguez, 23, of the 1200 block of North Taylor Avenue in Oak Park, was arrested at 5:46 p.m. Sept. 10 and charged with aggravated battery and two counts of aggravated assault. Rodriguez was held for bond hearings.
Joseph Blaise Librizzi, 46, of the 400 block of Lenox Street in Oak Park was arrested at 12:10 p.m. Sept. 10 and charged with domestic battery. He was scheduled for a Sept. 12 court date.
BURGLARY
Melvin Liddell, 25, of the 2400 block of West Cortland Street in Chicago, was arrested at 5:50 a.m. Sept. 11 on the 700 block of North Elmwood Street and charged with burglary. Lidell was held for bond hearing.
Solomon Scott, 30, of the 2200 block of North California Avenue in Chicago was arrested at 5:50 a.m. Sept. 11 on the 500 block of Fair Oaks Street and charged with burglary. He was also charged with two additional counts of burglary in relation to incidents on the 100 block of North Ridgeland Avenue and the 200 block of North Harvey Street. Scott was held for bond hearing.
A Ekovision car radio was removed from a vehicle on the first block of Harlem Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 9 and 12:21 a.m. Sept. 10. Estimated loss, $450.
A LCD camera was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1100 block of South Elmwood Street around 8 p.m. Sept. 7. Estimated loss, $500.
THEFT
Earnestine Bass, 48, of the 500 block of North Hamlin Avenue in Chicago was arrested at 7:35 p.m. Sept. 12 and charged with retail theft after she allegedly concealed a bottle of gin and walked past the last point of purchase at Dominick’s, 259 Lake St.
Mack K. Boyde, 51, of the 5500 block of West Quincy in Chicago, was arrested at 7:06 p.m. Sept. 9 on the 100 block of North Kenilworth and charged with theft. Boyde allegedly took $1,000 from someone’s home. His court date was set for Sept. 14. A purse containing a tablet computer, house keys, makeup and pepper spray was reported stolen between 2 and 4 p.m. Sept. 13 on the 400 block of North Harlem Street. Estimated loss, $875.
ORDER VIOLATION
Clifton Jackson, 50, of the 400 block of North St. Louis in Chicago, was arrested at 1:07 a.m. Sept. 14 on the first block of South Boulevard and charged with violation of an order of protection. He was held for bond hearings.
TRESPASS
Kenon Dennis, 31, of the 2000 block of 7th Avenue in Maywood, was arrested at 11:04 p.m. Sept. 13 and charged with criminal trespass to property. He was held in lieu of bond.
