Oak Park police to sell unclaimed bikes

OAK PARK — More than 80 bicycles recovered by the Oak Park Police Department over the past year, but not claimed by their owners, will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 29, at 260 Madison St.
Bicycles range in size, style and condition, are pre-priced and will be sold as-is with no pre-sale inspection. Payment may be made with cash or check. Prices will range from $30 to more than $100. Only one bike may be purchased per person at a time, with a limit of two bikes per household.
