A Chicago man who allegedly stole a bike was charged with several Oak Park retail thefts additionally.
Michael D. Fisher, 41, of the 3200 block of W. Fulton Street, was arrested on the 700 block of W. Garfield Street at 11:33 a.m. Jan. 25, and charged with stealing a bike.
Upon investigation, Fisher was found with several items allegedly stolen in an earlier retail theft from a CVS Pharmacy on the 6700 block of W. Roosevelt Road.
Fisher, who had been paroled in December from his latest prison sentence stemming from his latest of 13 criminal convictions, was then also found to be wanted on a parole violation warrant.
The next night, investigators added another charge of felony retail theft after identifying him as the perpetrator in a Jan. 22 retail theft.
Fisher continued to be held for a bond hearing, at which he was ordered held in lieu of $50,000 bond to wait for a Feb. 3 arraignment court date.
