Tech Skills: 9:30 a.m. Jan. 26. “Genealogy on the Internet.” Explore the best free sites and databases available for genealogical research. Walk-ins only. No preregistration.
Preschool Playgroup: 10 a.m. Jan. 26 at Maze Branch. Open playtime for preschoolers with toys, puzzles puppets and music.
Family Open Story Time: 10:30 a.m. Jan. 26 at Dole Branch. Story time for children ages 2-6.
What Would You Do?: 4 p.m. Jan. 26. Teens discuss current issues.
Young @ Heart: Book Discussion, 7 p.m. Jan. 26. If you enjoy reading books like The Hunger Games and Twilight come to a book discussion for adults who read Young Adult literature. This month: Delirium by Lauren Oliver.

Lego Club: 3 p.m. Jan. 27 at Dole Branch.
Lyric Opera Lecture: 2 p.m. Jan. 29. America’s greatest musical theater masterpiece is based on the novel, “Show Boat” by Edna Ferber. This lecture is free and open to the public.
Tech Skills: 7 p.m. Jan. 30. “Time Management Using Doodle/Google.”
Toddler Playgroup: 10 a.m. Jan. 31 a Dole Branch.
Teen Improv Workshop: 6:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at Maze Branch. Calling all teens (ages 11 and up) for improvisational drama games. Never acted before but always wanted to try? Or are you a seasoned pro that loves moment-to-moment action? Either way, come join in the fun and games that are sure to test your quick-thinking skills. Warning: hilarity will ensue.
Film: 7 p.m. Jan. 31. “The Kings of Pastry.” (Directed by Chris Hegedus and D.A. Pennebaker, 84 minutes). Free and open to the public.
Knitting Program: 7 p.m. Jan. 31. “All Wrapped Up.” Join Sue Jaffee, knitter extraordinaire for this two-session program to knit a cozy continuous cabled scarf. This two-week program is for experienced knitters. Prior to the first class required materials list will be provided.
