Free condo board
training March 12
Condominium board members who want to learn more about how to meet their responsibilities are invited to free one-hour training seminars sponsored by Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations. The first session, which will focus on how to conduct a one-hour board meeting, is Tuesday, March 12. Other sessions are scheduled for April 9 (developing and enforcing rules and regulations, including smoke-free housing); May 14 (hiring a management company); and June 11 (collections and foreclosures). changes March 13
The second of two public meetings to provide details on proposed changes to building and property codes is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Village Hall, 123 Madison St. Property owners and managers, contractors, design professionals and the general public are invited to meet with representatives from the Building & Property Standards Department, Fire Department and Business Services Division, who will outline the proposed changes and answer questions.
