OAK PARK — The fourth annual movie fundraiser of the Oak Park Women’s Guild will take place this Saturday, Jan. 26.

Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. at Lake Theatre, 1022 Lake St., in support of the Kurrle family, of Oak Park. The “The Smurfs” (PG) will be shown. Tickets are $5 per person.

This year’s event will raise money to support community member and mom-of-three Kathleen O’Bryan Kurrle and her family as she continues a four-year battle against metastatic cancer.

Bring your children, neighbors, family and friends for this special screening.

All ticket proceeds go to the family.

Raffle tickets will be for sale for special family entertainment-oriented baskets. Also consider donating directly via the Guild website oakparkwomensguild.org/fundraisers.html.

If you have any questions, contact event co-chair Alison Welch at aliwelch@gmail.com.
