Becki Blumer, of Lombard, was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year at Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloominton, Ill. She is the daughter of Debra Wiora and Pat Blumer, both formerly of Oak Park.
To be on the dean’s list, a student must have a grade-point average of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight A’s.

, of Oak Park, a student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee enrolled in the School of the Arts, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 semester.
The following Oak Parkers were among 4,000 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the dean’s list for the 2012 fall semester. They are listed with the college they are enrolled in. Emily Margaret Gill, Liberal Arts & Sciences; Kathryn Hiolski, Liberal Arts & Sciences; Nicolette Michele Johnson, Engineering; Thomas Edward Kasang, Engineering; Gregory Straub Kordesh, Business; Erin Elizabeth Naffziger, Liberal Arts & Sciences; Jamie Lauren Sherr, Liberal Arts & Sciences; and Kirsten Williams Weismantle, Liberal Arts & Sciences.
At the close of the 2012 fall session each of these students received a bachelor degree in their field at the UI commencement.
Lauren Flannery, of Oak Park, a student at Winona State University, was named to the dean’s list for fall term 2012. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must be an undergraduate enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours for a grade) and achieve a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.
Ana P. Baldinger, of Oak Park, and Kelsey E. Mullen, also of Oak Park, students at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, achieved dean’s list status for the 2012 fall semester. A student must earn a 3.5 grade-point average and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours to be recognized.
Jennise Fermoso, Poomani Govender, Kyle Sellers and Anne Thinnes, all of Oak Park, are among the students named to the Elmhurst College dean’s list for the fall term of the 2012-2013 academic year. The dean’s list is compromised of students, who during the semester concerned, attained a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (out of a possible 4.00).
Degrees have now been officially awarded to more than 845 fall 2012 graduates at Eastern Illinois University. Students certified by their respective deans as having completed all requirements leading to the awarding of degrees include Oak Parkers Claire E. Burns, who earned a bachelor of science degree in education; Louis X. Carver, who earned a bachelor of arts degree; and Tory L. Jackson, who earned a bachelor of science degree.
Abby Lyons, Jonathan Smith, Madeline Lyons and Rosaleen Egan, all of Oak Park, were named to the dean’s list for the fall semester of the 2012-13 academic year at Illinois Wesleyan University, Bloominton, Ill.
The dean’s list, which was announced by Provost and Dean of Faculty Jonathan Green, includes 875 students from 22 states and 18 countries. To be on the dean’s list, a student must have a grade-point average of 3.50 or better during the semester, based on 4.0 for straight A’s.
David R. Olson, of Oak Park, and Abigail R. Vogel, also of Oak Park, have received recognition on the dean’s list for the fall semester at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. To be eligible for the dean’s list a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.
Illinois State University fall 2012 undergraduates who met high academic standards, as established by the college of their major, are included in a dean’s list issued each semester. Eligible students must complete 12 or more graded hours during the semester. These students include: of Oak Park — Andrew James Adamczewski, Maxwel James Doman, McKenzie Elizabeth Kula, John Oscar Nevins and Brittany Ariana Smith; and of River Forest — Jessica Dawn McAdam.
