Jim Drumm named VP at Preferred Meal Systems, Inc.

OAK PARK ­— Preferred Meal Systems, Inc. has announced that Jim Drumm, of Oak Park, was named national vice president of business development.

Drumm will develop and execute business strategies to accelerate Preferred Meal Systems nationwide growth. He will work with the Art Bell, senior vice president of sales, and the field customer service teams serving public and private school districts and charter schools as well as day care centers and senior feeding throughout the country.

For 20 years, Drumm has been involved in the food service industry. He joined Preferred Meal Systems in 1998 and held the titles of regional sales director, general manager and regional vice president for the Midwest region.

Prior to joining Preferred Meal Systems, Drumm worked on behalf of Chicago Foodservice (Anmar Foods, Inc.) and Cousins Foods Ltd., serving both companies in various facets of distribution, manufacturing, management, quality control and sales.

Drumm earned a bachelor of science from Northern Illinois University. He resides in Oak Park, with his wife Dawn and two children.
