The Oak Park-River Forest High School football season is about to kick off, but in the meantime, Comcast SportsNet Chicago has released pre-season rankings. According to Comcast SportsNet:

2013 record: 9-2 (5-1); finished second in the West Suburban Silver conference in 2013. Lost to Maine South 34-21 in Class 8A second round action.

Why the Huskies made the CSN Preps Power Rankings: Oak Park-River Forest has has a nice run of talent over the past few seasons and the Huskies look like they are here to stay. Look for OPRF to again be a major player in the West Suburban Silver in Class 8A this fall.
