40th annual Scoville Park Arts and Crafts Show set for August 16

Scoville Park will host their annual Arts and Crafts Show on August 16th. According to a news release:

Artists & Craftsartists from far and near will fill Scoville Park with work they themselves created during the 40th Annual Oak Park Avenue-Lake Arts & Crafts Show to be presented by American Society of Artists, a national membership organization, in Scoville Park, Oak Park Avenue and Lake St., Oak Park, Saturday. August 16th from 11am to 7pm and Sunday, August 17th from 9am to 5pm. Admission is free both days.

Area artists include Danielle Stotts of Oak Park, exhibiting eye-catching jewelry and Mary Beth Smith of Elmwood Park exhibiting her custom designed jewelry. She is a popular repeat exhibitor in the show. Other exhibitors include Scott Kiefer of Berwyn exhibiting his unique printmaking and Christine Esposition who lives in Chicago just across the border from Oak Park.

You and your family can enjoy exploring the many talents and treasures of the artists and craftartists of American Society of Artists as they exhibit an enticing variety of work ranging from paintings, sculpture, artwear and glass works to photography, wood arts, graphics, soap making plus much more. Exhibitors will include many of your favorites from past years plus exciting new displays.

Art In Action is again included in the show with some of the exhibitors working/ demonstrating at their booths at various times during the show. All of the many exhibitors will be happy to discuss their work with you. Programs will be available free of charge at the ASA Program/Information table and will list the exhibitors, their mediums and show their locaions in the show.
