Two individuals were robbed by gunpoint while walking on the 200 block of North Euclid Avenue at around midnight on July 13, according to police.

The victims, a man from Forest Park and a female Oak Park resident, were walking on the sidewalk of the aforementioned block when two men approached them, one brandishing a handgun.

The unknown offenders then demanded that the victims hand over their property. The second man held a “hard object” against the woman, prompting her to give him her purse, which contained a white Apple iPhone 5, passport, $40 in cash and several other miscellaneous items.

The male victim gave the offenders a brown leather wallet and a black Apple iPhone 4s. The offenders then fled northbound on Euclid Avenue. The stolen items were estimated to be valued at $1,120.
