Friday night lights: Request to allow more OPRF stadium night games set for Village Board

The Oak Park and River Forest High School Friday night stadium lighting is back on the agenda for the Oak Park Village Board. At tonight’s meeting, July 7, the Village Board will be reviewing a request from District 200 to amend the special use permit to allow of stadium lights for additional Friday night games for playoff games.

The current ordinance allows for lighting to be used for 60 nights, but this request would add an additional two nights for playoff games.
